| Hi this is my 1989 Austin Metro 1.3 that is now for sale.
I’ve owned the car for about 2 years and it’s been great.
I have had an m.o.t done recently and whatever was needed was done.
Runs perfectly fine, had a new fan belt fitted recently, does squeal every so often.
The condition of the car is good considering its age but obviously not perfect, as the pictures show there are rust patches and the wing has been sprayed and isn’t a good job at all.
There are bits of trim that I have taken off because they were rattling, I was going to fit them properly but haven’t had time, the gator around the gear stick has been taken off, again it was annoying when changing gears, the trim that is off is with the car.
The head unit in the car doesn’t stay in the slot all the time, again I’ve just not had time to sort it out.
It has the typical slight oil leak as with old minis I’ve owned, also the gearbox is good when the car is warmed up, again the same with old minis that I’ve owned.
I’ve used the car every week since I’ve owned it, the only reason that it’s not being used and is for sale is because business is taking over and I don’t use it anymore, unfortunately.
Also comes with a decent car cover and a pump for the suspension and some fluid, also included is some good oil.
